Our philosophy is to teach our students about horses and riding from the ground up. They learn grooming, care and compassion for the horses first. Then they receive structured lessons to teach them to ride successfully and safely. This combined approach creates a long-lasting bond between the horse and rider. Furthermore, the students develop self-confidence, pride and accountability.

There is something to be said about a person (young or old) who, after a fall (no matter how slight) puts their left foot into the stirrup to mount up. You feel this debilitating fear, not just phycically but mentally. You feel shaky and so afraid and alone.... your body parts wont cooperate the way they did before your fall. You are thinking about every move that your horse is making instead of on your ride.You are wondering is he going to spook, buck, ect.... All of a sudden you feel a little sick and weak, it is hard to breathe, and you want to stay on but it is so very frightening. You wish you could go back to before your fall or bad experience. But you just can't.... I watched three of my riders mount up this weekend with this fear. I want to help you!!!I have been there so many times.
